Do I need a home to join?+
Not at all. Members without a home can pet sit, stay with hosts and use their nights. Plenty of our favourite people travel light.
What are nights?+
Our way of keeping things fair. Host someone for a night and you earn a night. Spend nights to stay in someone's whole home. Every new member starts with 7.
Does it cost anything to stay?+
No payments between members, ever. Swaps are free, home stays and pet sits are free, and nights are earned by hosting.
Do swaps have to be on the same dates?+
Direct swaps usually are. If dates don't line up, stay for nights instead and the host earns them back.
Who sees my address?+
Only you, until a stay is confirmed. Everyone else sees your neighbourhood and a soft area on the map.
Can I meet someone before I say yes?+
Yes, and we recommend it. Every conversation has a built-in video call, so you can say hi face to face before agreeing to anything. No apps to download, no links to share.
